One Sunday, the pastor informed the congregation that the church needed some more funds and asked the congregation to consider contributing a little more in the offering plate. He stated that whoever contributed the most would be able to choose three hymns. After the offering plates were handed, the pastor looked down and discovered a $1,000 bill in the offering.
He was so overjoyed that he immediately expressed his excitement to his congregation and thanked the person who placed the money in the plate personally. In the back, a very quiet, old, and holy lady raised her hand quietly. The pastor motioned for her to come to the front. She moved slowly towards the preacher.
He complimented her on her generosity and asked her to choose three hymns as a gift. Her eyes brightened as she gazed over the congregation, pointed to the three most attractive men in the room, and exclaimed, “I’ll take him, him, and him.”
