This Chicken Bubble Biscuit Bake Casserole is a quick, cheesy, and savory dinner. It combines tender chicken, a creamy, Ranch-flavored sauce, bacon, and quartered refrigerator biscuits that “bubble up” during baking, creating a soft, dumpling-like topping.

Chicken Bubble Biscuit Bake Casserole

Ingredients:

Ingredient Quantity
Cooked, chopped chicken (or canned chicken) 3 cups
Cream of chicken soup 2 cans
Sour cream 1 1/2 cups
Grated cheese 2 cups, divided
Ranch dressing mix 2 tablespoons
Cooked, chopped bacon 1/4 cup
Refrigerator biscuits (Grands Jr. size recommended) 1 (12 oz) can

How To Make Chicken Bubble Biscuit Bake Casserole:

  1. Step 1: Prep and Preheat: Preheat your oven to 350°F (190°C). Lightly spray a 9×13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Step 2: Combine the Creamy Chicken Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, 1 cup of grated cheese, Ranch dressing mix, and cooked bacon. Stir until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
  3. Step 3: Prepare the Biscuits: Open the can of refrigerator biscuits and cut each biscuit into 4 pieces. Toss the biscuit pieces gently into the chicken mixture to coat them evenly.
  4. Step 4: Assemble and Bake: Pour the entire chicken and biscuit mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of grated cheese over the top.
  5. Step 5: Bake: Bake the casserole for 25-35 minutes, or until the mixture is bubbly and the biscuit pieces are puffed up and golden brown. Serve hot.
