Treatment: Warm compresses; if it persists, a doctor may need to drain it. 3. Milia Cause: Trapped dead skin cells under the skin. Symptoms: Small white or yellowish bumps around the eyelid (not painful). Treatment: Usually disappear on their own; a dermatologist can remove them if needed. 4. Allergic Reaction or Irritation Cause: Makeup, creams, dust, pollen, etc. Symptoms: Red, itchy bumps or swelling around the eyes.
