When I married David, I stepped into a complicated family dynamic with his sixteen year old son Josh. From the very beginning, Josh made it completely clear that I was an unwelcome addition to his household. David was struggling with his business, so I decided to offer my generous family inheritance to completely cover the tuition costs.
