A weary soldier, out of breath, approached a kind nun. “Please,” he pleaded, “may I hide under your skirt? I’ll explain everything afterward.” The nun, with a compassionate heart, agreed.
Moments later, two military policemen stormed up, their voices filled with urgency. “Sister,” they questioned, “have you seen a soldier fleeing this way?”

The nun, maintaining a calm demeanor, replied, “He went that direction.” As the MPs rushed off, the soldier cautiously emerged from beneath her skirt. “Sister,” he expressed his gratitude, “I cannot thank you enough. You see, I desperately wanted to avoid being sent to the front lines.”

The nun, understanding his fear, responded, “I comprehend your reluctance entirely.”
The soldier, overcome with relief, couldn’t help but remark, “I hope you don’t mind me saying this, but you have a truly impressive pair of legs.”
The nun, with a touch of humor, replied, “Perhaps if you had looked a bit higher, you would have noticed a truly impressive pair of balls. I, too, am not eager to go to the front lines.”
