As medical workers loaded her mother onto a stretcher, Lily held tightly to Hank for comfort. Three weeks later, the doors of Iron Horse opened during the daytime to reveal a healing woman leaning on a cane, accompanied by a very happy Lily. The tavern went completely silent as the little girl ran straight to Hank, climbing into his lap to proudly show him she still had his silver pin. Her mother tearfully thanked our rough group of riders, admitting she had not believed the police when they said her daughter found heroes until she saw our motorcycles. I poured them both refreshing drinks, realizing this tough tavern had finally become a true home.
