My name is Tom, and I was sixty one years old when my daughter Lisa gave birth to three beautiful girls named Rose, May, and June. I felt terrified that I was losing the girls, so I insisted we invite Lisa over for a Sunday meal. She arrived two hours late and acted like a wealthy guest inspecting our modest home. She finally admitted she only wanted a relationship because her social circle started asking questions about her missing children. Instead of forgiving the woman who abandoned them, the girls presented me with legal documents for adult adoption.
