An invitation to my twenty year reunion arrived with a painful note from Miriam, my lifelong tormentor who was now engaged to my ex husband Mark. He took the microphone and revealed to the crowd that he and Miriam previously belonged to the same talent agency noting she was dismissed for constantly causing unnecessary drama. As a literature teacher I calmly explained to my former classmates how Miriam had operated as an unreliable narrator for twenty years to manipulate my reputation. Mark finally realized the depth of the deception and turned away from Miriam when she tried to keep him under her control.
