I went into premature labor with my twins on a Tuesday afternoon and desperately asked my husband Blake to drive me to the hospital. Instead of helping me he listened to his mother Diane who demanded he take her and his sister Kayla to a mall in Raleigh for a handbag sale. His father Howard completely supported this selfish decision and told me to wait on the couch while they went shopping.
