A caring father left for a brief business trip after saying goodbye to his family at a busy airport. He firmly held the hand of his six year old son and instructed the young boy to take good care of his mother. The first two days of the work trip passed smoothly with normal evening phone calls about household activities and family meals. On the third night of the trip the exhausted father returned to his hotel room and received a sudden text message from his son. The boy sent an alarming report stating that his mother was crying loudly behind her locked bedroom door.
