MY CHEATING HUSBAND WANTS TO SEPARATE, BUT DEMANDS THAT I MOVE ACROSS THE COUNTRY WITH HIM! WHAT SHOULD I DO?
So my husband of 13 years told me two things recently: 1) he found a new job far away, and 2) he’s been unhappy all these years, he thinks I’m terrible and wants a divorce. I’m trying to control myself, but the audacity of this man is beyond me! Just imagine: now he wants me to leave my friends and work and move across the country with him, our two little kids, and HIS MOM when we’re not even together! But when I found out more, I GASPED. Turns out it was his old friend who helped him with this new job opportunity, and also this friend is a woman and he’s cheating on me with her. So now he insists that we all move. This way he can be with this woman, but also be around the kids as “they need their father.” He says I must do this for the sake of the children.
I’m hurt, lost, and confused. I don’t want this to hurt the kids too, but moving away from everything while we are divorcing and there’s another woman…
I really need some advice. What would you do in my place?
