The experienced actor is presently engaged in a film project alongside Tom Cruise; however, production has been temporarily suspended due to his injury.
John Goodman, aged 72, was recently admitted to the hospital following an incident at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, where he was filming a movie in the United Kingdom. It has been reported that he fell while preparing for a scene, although the injury was not associated with any stunt work.

A representative from Warner Bros. Pictures stated, “Actor John Goodman sustained a hip injury. He received prompt medical care, which resulted in a brief pause in filming to allow for his recovery. Production is scheduled to resume next week after John has fully recuperated.”
Despite the interruption, the project is progressing. The film, currently titled “Judy,” features Tom Cruise as a significant character striving to save humanity. Directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Alejandro González Iñárritu, filming has been ongoing for nearly two months, with a planned release date in October 2026.
